Ok, so I wanted to make some of those no slip headbands pretty bad. I was at Hobby Lobby and they had the velvet ribbon 50% off so I bought 2 types and 2 pretty ribbons.
I made 7 headbands this afternoon in about an hour. The girls are modeling theirs. I wanted this pattern for myself, but ran out of wide velvet ribbon --they only put 6 feet on a roll!. Instead I made a couple narrow out of another style of ribbon. I'm wearing one right now and it's not going anywhere! This is the site I used to get the pattern. Man, I was going to pay $10 for one of these. I made all 7 for $5. Will you sell some at the shop for me , MOM?
